We feel we can be particularly helpful to new businesses (“one man”, “work from home”, or otherwise), who are perhaps new to the Internet as a marketplace and want to establish a web presence and become known to the search engines.

We adopt a no-nonsense, jargon-free approach. A successful website doesn’t have to be expensive. And it’s certainly the case that many expensive websites are not particularly successful, if at all.

• The In&Around directory is itself marketed using our Bizsub service. That is, important keywords from all client pages is submitted en mass to the search engines on a monthly basis, with some quite impressive results. Therefore, if an individualised marketing service is perhaps a strain on the budget, we will include a full page in the directory which we can market at a fraction of the cost. Of course, your page can link visitors on to your website.

• If you are new to internet marketing (perhaps you are starting a new business and have no website – have a business which has not yet explored the possibilities of the Net – or have a website which has never been actively marketed), then this option could be for you.
  
  A single page in the In&Around directory is an excellent low-outlay means of getting your business established on the Net and known to the search engines.
  
  This is even more powerful if coupled to your own domain name (e.g. yourdomain.co.uk), which can be bought for a few pounds, and which you can then use on your business cards, advertising, etc. Whenever anyone types or clicks on your domain name, they are routed directly to your personal page within the directory. You can also have a more professional and appropriate looking email address (e.g. info@yourdomain.co.uk), which we route to your actual email address (yahoo, hotmail, etc.).
