Café 29 is our new, modern and stylish Café Bistro, situated in the heart of Bishop Auckland town centre. Housed in one of oldest buildings in the area, now lovingly renovated retaining some of its original features, we offer a great place in which to meet with friends, relax and enjoy a drink and excellent food – a unique experience where the traditional meets the contemporary.

By day we are a relaxed café bar serving breakfast, lunch, snacks coffees wines and beers and by night a bistro serving dinner from our fabulous evening menu. Or you are welcome to just chill out with a drink in our comfy seating area!

We are child friendly and passionate about providing fantastic flavours using quality, local and seasonal ingredients to create something for all! We offer disabled access and facilities and there is ample parking available just 1 minute away.
